Lower Merion senior Nick Bibbs gave an oral commitment yesterday to play soccer at Rutgers University.

The defender chose the Scarlet Knights' full scholarship over offers from Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and Penn State.

"Rutgers is just a great fit for me," Bibbs said at yesterday's news conference.

The defender was not the only Lower Merion boys' soccer standout on hand yesterday. Forward Danny DiLulli and midfielder Jason Kass announced their college plans for the second time. DiLulli will attend James Madison, and Kass is headed to Kenyon College. Both originally announced their college destinations in January.
