Line: Cardinals by 31/2
The skinny: Arizona (8-4) can clinch the NFC West with a victory. The Cardinals have been the dominant franchise in the West, having won 10 of their last 11 against division foes. In addition to all of Kurt Warner's passing options, Beanie Wells and Tim Hightower are quite the duo in the backfield. Entering yesterday, Wells led NFC rookies with four rushing touchdowns; Hightower led all running backs with 51 receptions. Since the teams last met, the 49ers (5-7) have switched quarterbacks from Shaun Hill to Alex Smith, resulting in a more pass-oriented offense. Arizona ranks 30th against the pass.
