Minor Leagues: Thunder top Squirrels, 10-2

TRENTON - Hector Noesi struck out 10 batters in seven innings Sunday to lead the Trenton Thunder to a 10-2 rout of the Richmond Flying Squirrels in the Eastern League.

TRENTON - Hector Noesi struck out 10 batters in seven innings Sunday to lead the Trenton Thunder to a 10-2 rout of the Richmond Flying Squirrels in the Eastern League.

Noesi gave up six hits and two runs and walked only one Squirrel.

Catcher Jose Gil was 2 for 3 with a double and three RBIs for the Thunder.

Lehigh Valley 11, Charlotte 5

ALLENTOWN - Andy Tracy's two-run triple highlighted a five-run fifth as the IronPigs beat the Knights in the International League.

Dane Sardinha added three hits and two RBIs.

Greensboro 6, Lakewood 2

LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Jose Alvarez struck out eight in 61/3 innings to lead the Grasshoppers past the BlueClaws in the South Atlantic League.

Lakewood starter Jonathan Pettibone gave up three homers and six runs while getting just one out in the first inning.

Camden 10, Bridgeport 4

Steve Hammond struck out nine in six shutout innings to lead the Riversharks past the Bluefish in an Atlantic League game at Campbells Field.

Rained out. The Phillies' Eastern League game at Portland was rained out. Because this was the last scheduled game of the season between the two clubs in 2010, it will not be made up.
