Minor Leagues: Way gets shutout as BlueClaws win

Lakewood broke open a 0-0 tie in the sixth inning. Leandro Castro singled, moved to third on Jonathan Singleton's groundout, and scored on a sacrifice fly by Sebastian Valle.

READING - Getting production from the top of the order, the Phillies scored 11 runs in the first five innings and cruised by the Flying Squirrels in an Eastern League game.

Leadoff batter Quintin Berry went 1 for 3, with two RBIs and three stolen bases. Mike Spidale, in a 3-for-4 night, smacked two doubles. Domonic Brown went 1 for 2, walked twice, and got three RBIs.

Drew Naylor picked up his fifth win in 11 outings, going seven innings. Mike Stutes pitched two shutout innings in relief, striking out four.
