Penn used an 11-2 run midway through the second half to seal the win as the Quakers dropped the La Salle women, 64-54, in their Big Five opener Monday at Tom Gola Arena.

Penn's Alyssa Baron had 23 points as the Quakers (1-2, 1-0) took the lead with 16 minutes, 42 seconds gone and never trailed.

Micahya Owens (Willingboro) had 16 points to lead La Salle (2-4, 0-2 Big Five).

Cabrini 63, Gwynedd Mercy 55 - Amber Keys (Phoenixville) had 22 points and 12 rebounds to lift the Cavaliers (5-1 1-0 CSAC) past the Griffins (1-4 0-1) in Radnor.

Rosemont 72, Notre Dame (Md.) 26 - Liz Coyne (Downingtown West) had 16 points to lead the Ravens (2-4, 1-0 CSAC) over the visiting Gators (0-4, 0-1).

Centenary 68, Immaculata 55 - Djovan Beausejour (Central Bucks East) had 30 points to lead the Cyclones (2-5, 1-0 CSAC) to an overtime win over the Mighty Macs (2-2, 0-1) in Hackettstown, N.J.
