Greg Lawson (Medford Tech) totaled 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead Widener over FDU-Florham, 75-49, in the Scotty Wood Tournament in Allentown, Pa.

Mark Pryzbylkowski (New Egypt) finished with 13 points for Widener (3-1). The Pride play Muhlenberg for the title on Saturday. The Mules (3-0) beat Cairn, 88-43.

Catholic 68, Gwynedd Mercy 63 - Darnell Artis (La Salle) and Aaron Goodman (Council Rock North) each had 13 points, but the Griffins (2-1) fell to the Cardinals (2-1) at the Hoopsville National Invitational in Owings Mills, Md.

Chris McCullough had 20 points and a key steal with 8.4 seconds left as No. 23 Syracuse (3-1) held off Iowa (2-2) to win the 2K Classic consolation game, 66-63, in New York. . . . Jonathan Holmes had 21 points and 13 rebounds, and No. 10 Texas shook off the absence of leading scorer Isaiah Taylor to beat California, 71-55, in the championship game of the 2K Classic.

Temple 81, Georgetown 58 -

Tyonna Williams scored 21 points to lead five players in double figures as the Owls (2-1) beat the Hoyas (2-2) at the Hall of Fame Challenge in Lawrence, Kan.

Alliya Butts (Holy Cross) tallied 11 points. Temple will be back in action Saturday against host Kansas, which fell, 85-80, to Alabama.

Lebanon Valley 75, Eastern 59 - Taylor Umbrell (Delran) scored 17 points in the win and the Flying Dutchmen (4-0) will play Hunter on Saturday in the final of the Hunter Tip-Off Tournament in New York. Meghan Nowak (Gateway) had 15 points for the Eagles (2-1).
