Welcome to the new Inquirer.com reading experience.

We’re introducing some changes to our article pages that we hope you’ll like. From articles that load faster to more ways to find the news, we’ve made tweaks, informed by your feedback, with you in mind.

We began rolling out these updates to some people last month, but now all Inquirer.com readers will find a fresh look and feel when you’re reading articles. Here are some of the most important updates.

A new look and feel

The first thing you should notice is that we chose all new fonts, which are specifically designed for an easier reading experience across your different devices.

The most important thing you probably won’t notice is lag time. Our new articles load twice as fast, so you can quickly get the information you need — even if you’re on SEPTA or in the Poconos.

We also introduced clearer labeling of Opinion content across the site and mobile app, so you know exactly what you’re looking at and who you’re hearing from.

Dive deeper

We want you to get to know our journalists. Based on your feedback, each story is bookended by the reporter’s headshot and bio.

Want more? Keep scrolling.

Once you finish a story, we’ll introduce you to more of our journalism through recommendations starting with the latest news. This feed will include stories related to the topic you just read about, as well as a mix of other stories from across our site. You’ll find a few tweets interspersed there, too.

We’re not done yet

This is the first of several changes you’ll notice in the coming months. Indispensable local journalism is more important now than ever, and we’ll keep refining and improving, based on your feedback.

So, what do you think?
