What changes you’ll see from The Inquirer online

Here’s what you can expect at the new inquirer.com and on our social media channels.

At the new Inquirer.com: The same indispensable journalism that you’ve come to expect — engaging, ambitious, and innovative — under a redesigned and improved Inquirer logo. You won’t have to go hunting for your favorite topics or learn any new buttons or navigation. The only change you’ll see is in our logo.

At Philly.com: Our goal is to make the transition to Inquirer.com as simple and intuitive as possible. So even though we are moving to a new web address, you don’t have to change anything. The old site will redirect you to the right place, and all of your old bookmarks should take you there, too. You may have to login again the first time you visit Inquirer.com.

On email: Staff emails have changed to firstinitiallastname at inquirer dot com (example: John Smith is jsmith@inquirer.com). Emails sent to previous addresses at philly.com or phillynews.com will still work and be forwarded to the right inbox. You can always reach us by phone, in our comment sections, on social media, or even by mail. We still like paper around here.

On social media: We’ll still be posting the same timely and informative journalism on our social media accounts, but they’ve had a name change and slightly new look.

On Facebook, our page name changed to Philadelphia Inquirer from Philly.com; if you already follow or like the page, you will not need to do anything. Our Instagram account has changed its name to @phillyinquirer. On Twitter, our main account is @phillyinquirer. And on YouTube, our Philly.com channel is now The Philadelphia Inquirer.
