All Star Sweepstakes Rules

No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited by law. Open to residents of PA, NJ and DE who are 18 years or older at the time of entry. Sweepstakes begins on March 3, 2014 and ends on March 30, 2014. Entry forms available in The Philadelphia Inquirer daily, beginning March 3, 2014 and ending March 30, 2014, in the Philadelphia Daily News, Monday through Saturday, beginning March 3, 2014 and ending March 29, 2014. Entries for each ALL STAR Sweepstakes Week are available at the office lobby of The Philadelphia Inquirer and the Philadelphia Daily News at 801 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., beginning on March 3, 2014 and ending March 28, 2014. One entry per person per day available at that location. An entry consists of three (3) entry forms from The Philadelphia Inquirer or the Philadelphia Daily News published during the same 'ALL STAR Sweepstakes Week', or a single entry picked up at the lobby of the offices of The Philadelphia Inquirer and the Philadelphia Daily News at 801 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107 .

Entries may be mailed in to the address designated on the entry form or dropped off at The Inquirer's office lobby at 801 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., beginning on March 3, 2014 and ending March 28, 2014. One (1) winner will be selected at random on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 from all entries received by The Philadelphia Inquirer and the Philadelphia Daily News by 5:00 p.m. on April 2, 2014.

The prize consists of:

  1. 2 tickets to the 2014 MLB All Star Game scheduled to be held on July 15th, 2014 at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minnesota

  2. 2 tickets to the 2014 MLB Home Run Derby scheduled to be held on July 14th, 2014 at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minnesota

  3. Round-trip coach airfare for two from Philadelphia International Airport

  4. 3 nights stay for two at an Elite hotel property (Check in Sunday, July 13th ,check out Wednesday July 16th)

Total prize value = $5,000. Winner will be notified by phone. Winner will be required to provide valid identification. Transportation to and from Philadelphia International Airport and meals are the responsibility of the winner.

Upon receipt, entries become the property of Philadelphia Media Network, LLC (PMN), the publisher of The Philadelphia Inquirer and the Philadelphia Daily News. Your odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received. Damaged, incomplete, forged or altered, late or misdirected are not valid. No substitution of prizes will be permitted. By entering, you allow PMN and its affiliated companies and business partners to use your name, telephone number, e-mail address and home address for marketing purposes. Winners grant PMN and its affiliates the right to use his or her name and for promotional purposes without further compensation. Winner will be required to sign a statement of eligibility, and may also be required to sign a liability release, as a condition to prize delivery. Entrants agree that neither PMN nor its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents are liable for any and all claims for injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting directly or indirectly from participation in this contest or from acceptance or use of any prize. Taxes are solely the responsibility of the winner(s). Employees of PMN and its affiliates and their respective affiliates and their immediate family members are not eligible.
