Terry Bitman is an Inquirer reporter and editor. A South Jersey native and resident, he has been with the newspaper for more than 35 years, covering such beats as state and local governments, education, politics and nightlife. He also has been an editor in New Jersey, Philadelphia, and on the sports and online desks. His column appears every Sunday.
