What I Do

Andy Cassel began following business and the economy as an editor at he Miami Herald in 1982. He joined The Inquirer's Business News Desk in 1984, and has since served as a national correspondent based in Chicago and has covered banking and the Philadelphia regional economy. He received an Overseas Press Club citation for "A Day in the Life of Global Markets" (1998), a Pennsylvania AP Managing Editors award (1995) and a Society of Professional Journalists prize (1966). He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1972.
