Dr. Kim M. Olthoff is an associate professor of surgery at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. She is director of both the Penn Transplant Center's <a href="http://pennhealth.com/transplant/liver/">Liver Transplant Program</a> and <a href="http://www.chop.edu/consumer/jsp/division/generic.jsp?id=84309">The Transplant Center</a> at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Dr. Kim M. Olthoff is an associate professor of surgery at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. She is director of both the Penn Transplant Center's <a href="http://pennhealth.com/transplant/liver/">Liver Transplant Program</a> and <a href="http://www.chop.edu/consumer/jsp/division/generic.jsp?id=84309">The Transplant Center</a> at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. <br/>She has a practice in adult and pediatric transplantation and hepatobiliary surgery, combined with a research laboratory in basic and translational studies. Dr. Olthoff has received funding from the National Institutes of Health for studies in liver regeneration, living donor transplantation and immunologic-monitoring studies in transplant recipients. <br/>Dr. Olthoff will answer questions about liver transplants and surgery from Monday, Oct. 1, through Wednesday, Oct. 3. <br/>Her colleague in Nadia's care, pediatrician Elizabeth B. Rand, will answer <a href="http://www.philly.com/inquirer/ask/guest/inquirerforum1/">questions about liver disease in children</a>, beginning Oct. 2.
