Benefits manager in Pa. changes name to PerformCare
Community Behavioral HealthCare Network of Pennsylvania, which manages mental health benefits for Medicaid beneficiaries, is changing its name to PerformCare, the name for the organization already used in New Jersey, Indiana and South Carolina, its parent company, AmeriHealth Caritas, announced.

AmeriHealth Caritas, which is majority-owned by Independence Blue Cross, bought Community Behavioral HealthCare Network of Pennsylvania in 2008 and expanded it to other states under the name PerformCare.
PerformCare has 1 million clients, and its provider network includes 570 agencies and organizations, 1,700 practitioners than 2,300 treatment sites, the company said. - Harold Brubaker
