Orleans Homebuilders Inc., the Bensalem builder, has hired Michael Palmer as president of its Northeast Division, overseeing day-to-day operations of the company's 27 communities in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. Additional responsibilities will include leading the new-product-development, purchasing, land acquisition and development teams. He was vice president at Piper Homes L.L.C.
