Jahvon Quinerly, who played for Villanova in 2018-2019 before transferring to Alabama, is now in the transfer portal anew. The point guard, a Hackensack native, averaged 11.8 points and 3.7 assists per game during his time in Tuscaloosa.

Quinerly was a redshirt at Alabama during the 2019–2020 season under NCAA transfer rules. Now 24, he is eligible immediately to play as a graduate transfer. Quinerly started 27 games and averaged career highs in points (13.8) and assists (4.2) in 2021-22, but last season shifted to an off-the-bench role, averaging 8.7 points and 3.2 assists in 21.1 minutes per game for eventual No. 1 seed Alabama.

Prior to joining the Crimson Tide, the former 5-star recruit played sparingly during his lone season at Villanova, averaging 3.2 points in 9.1 minutes per game under former Wildcats coach Jay Wright.
