Villanova adds six football recruits on signing day
The Wildcats now have a total of 17 newcomers in the two signing periods.
Villanova has added six football recruits , giving the Wildcats a total of 17 in the two signing periods.
The newcomers are wide receivers Jaaron Hayek (Wayne, N.J.) and Rayjoun Pringle (Dumfries, Va.); running back TD Ayo-Durojaiye (Damascus, Md.) offensive lineman Wyatt Hummel (Dallas), linebacker Josh Slay (Douglasville, Ga.); and tight end Jack Stanton (Alpharetta, Ga.).
“We are really excited about the group of 17 student-athletes that have signed with our program and with our university,” Villanova coach Mark Ferrante said in a statement released by the school. “We feel that this is a great recruiting class for Villanova football.”
The class, which represents players from eight states, has three each of wide receivers, offensive linemen, and defensive backs, two each of running backs, defensive linemen and linebackers; one tight end; and a quarterback.
