Two teenagers dead, one injured in Camden shooting

Two teenagers were killed early Sunday morning in Camden during a shooting that left a third injured.

Camden County Police responding to a ShotSpotter alert in the 2900 block of Pierce Street at 12:37 a.m. found two females in a vehicle and a male lying on the ground, all shot and unresponsive, according to a statement by Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson.

The male, 17, whose name was not provided, and Shirleen Caban, 19, both of Camden, were pronounced dead shortly before 1:00 a.m. An 18-year-old female from Sewel was being treated at an unidentified hospital.
