A 61-year-old man was injured in a shooting outside a strip mall Wednesday afternoon in Cherry Hill, the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office said.

Shortly after 3:50 p.m., police responded to a report of a person shot inside a vehicle in the parking lot of Liberty Bell Plaza on the 2000 block of Route 70 East, Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay said in a statement.

The shooting, which appeared to be an isolated incident, was being investigated by the Major Crimes Unit of the prosecutor’s office and the Cherry Hill Police Department, MacAulay said.
