A 16-year-old girl and an 18-year-old woman suffered leg wounds when gunfire erupted on the 2800 block of North Reese Street, police said. A 26-year-old man was fatally wounded.

A 16-year-old girl and an 18-year-old woman, both delivering food for DoorDash, were struck by stray bullets in a triple shooting that left a man dead Monday night in the city’s Fairhill section, police said.
Shortly before 7:40 p.m., police responded to a reported shooting on the 2800 block of North Reese Street and found a 26-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
Police transported the man to Temple University Hospital, where he later was pronounced dead, Inspector D.F. Pace said.
Police found out that the two teens were in the process of delivering food when they were both shot, Pace said.
They were driven to the hospital by a DoorDash driver who was part of their three-member team, Pace said.
The 18-year-old was struck twice in the left thigh. The 16-year-old was shot once in the right thigh. Both were reported in stable condition, a police spokesperson said later.
Police found more than 30 spent shell casings at the scene from three different caliber firearms, Pace said.
No arrests were reported.
