Police investigating two early-morning shootings
A woman and man were injured in separate shootings about three hours apart Sunday.

Two early-morning shootings Sunday left two people wounded, including one man who remained in critical condition.
In that case, a 25-year-old man was shot twice in the back about 1:30 a.m. as he left the fast-food restaurant where he works, police said.
The victim was being picked up from the Wendy’s on Broad Street near Snyder Avenue in South Philadelphia when the shooting took place. He was taken to Jefferson University Hospital by police, and remained there Sunday evening.
Police said no additional information was available on the shooting, and no arrests had been made.
Three hours after that shooting, a woman was shot once in the head as she sat inside a parked car on 52nd Street near Woodland Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia, according to police.
The victim, 30, was taken to Presbyterian Hospital, where she was in stable condition.
