Suspect ID’d in Southwest Philly shooting that left boy, 13, critically wounded
The teen was one of four people wounded in shootings overnight.

A 13-year-old boy was shot and critically wounded early Wednesday outside a store in Southwest Philadelphia, police said.
Police on Wednesday night identified Rafiq Small, 19, as the suspect being sought for the shooting. Small, whose last known address was in Lansdowne, was considered armed and dangerous.
The boy, whose name was not released, had just parked his bicycle and was entering the Island Supermarket at 7298 Woodland Ave. about 12:20 a.m. when numerous gunshots rang out.
The boy was transported to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where he was reported to be in critical but stable condition with a gunshot wound to his abdomen.
Police said they did not immediately know if the boy was the target.
3 hurt in other overnight Philly shootings
Three other people were wounded in two other separate shootings overnight.
A 24-year-old, who had been shot in the back, neck, and hand at 57th and Chestnut Streets in West Philadelphia about 1:30 a.m., was taken by police to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and was reported to be in critical condition.
Shortly before midnight, two men walked into Temple University Hospital with gunshot wounds. The victims, a 23-year-old man with a leg wound and a 24-year-old man with a graze wound to his head, told police they had been shot on the 2400 block of North 18th Street. They went to the hospital in a private car. Both were reported to be in stable condition.
No arrests have been reported in any of the shootings.
