A woman was found stabbed to death Friday inside a rowhouse in West Philadelphia, police said.
Details were sparse, but police said the stabbing occurred inside a two-story home on the 4400 block of Parrish Street.
The victim, who was described as about 50 years old, had been stabbed multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:10 p.m., police said.
It was not immediately clear why police went to the residence.
No weapon was found and no arrests were made, police said.
The woman was not identified.
