Juggling relationships

Sara Felder uses circus tricks and clever narrative to examine her Jewish faith and the relationship between mothers and daughters, in her one-woman play "Out of Sight." Felder has listened to her mother tell a lifetime of stories about Israel, but when she goes there on a class trip, she starts to question her faith.

Lost in the crowd

In "Pitch Black," the Miro Dance Theatre and PRISM Saxophone Quartet explore the connection humans have to their urban surroundings, specifically the idea that people should be recognized "in the anonymous crowd of city life." The dynamic dance explores how modern man often gets lost in the shuffle of urban energy and noise.
