Mother's Day is a week away, but they're celebrating "Mummy Day" at the Penn Museum, part of its "Year of Egypt" celebration. Kids and moms can tour a gallery full of Egyptian mummies, do crafts and play games and even hear talks about motherhood.

First Person fundraiser
Famed jewelry-maker Steven Lagos is the crown jewel in this year's First Person in Fashion fundraiser. The event supports the First Person Arts, a group that encourages the creation of memoirs and documentaries. Lagos will share sketches of his work and preview his 2007 collection.
