Art on the Hill
Art buffs, don't miss the Chestnut Hill Gallery's May Reception and Art Sale, featuring landscape art from locals Kathy Busillo, Robert Amosky, Betz Green and others. Several of the artists will be on hand to mingle and there is wine and cheese to enjoy while checking out the art.

From Itamar Moses, author of "Outrage" and "Bach at Leipzig," comes "The Four of Us," a comedy about a playwright and his novelist friend who try to make it big — and encounter some obstacles along the way. The play, making its East Coast premiere, weaves in and out of the characters' lives, pondering success, jealousy, and challenging what it means to share their art with the rest of the world.

Pennsylvania artists made major contributions to 20th century American realism. The works of 38 masters of the style, including romantic realists Daniel Garber and Mary Cassatt, are included in a new exhibit, "Artists of the Commonwealth," at the Michener Art Museum.
