How she got it: Co-hosts "Preston & Steve" on WMMR-FM (93.3).

Neighborhood: Chester County.

Kids: A daughter, 7.

Have a heart: Needs a procedure (cardiac ablation) to repair a structural abnormality in her heart that causes an irregular heartbeat, putting her at risk for blood clots and strokes. But she doesn't have health insurance.

High cost of health: "I think it's terrible that you have people in my position who have to \[pay\] out of pocket for expenses. I couldn't believe the prices. One test was $900. What costs $900?"

America's next top model? Has appeared in "Playboy", "Esquire", "Smooth" and "FHM" magazines. "It's almost like car sales or anything commission-based. The product is me. I'm constantly working. I just don't sit back and wait for work to come in. I work 24/7."

Not the glamorous life: "They put you in positions you wouldn't actually be in, and you have to hold it for an hour."

On her own since 15: "I had three jobs until I was 20. I graduated high school with honors. I could have made every excuse to drop out of high school ... I worked and worked and worked."

Previous gigs: Manager of a GapKids store; worked in an orthodontist's office and a tanning salon.

Goals: "I want to finish the book I'm writing, and I want to open an organization that helps people like me. I want to help people who can't afford their medical expenses."

Closing thought: "I'm a very positive person ... it can't rain forever."
