According to Delaware State Police, Mrs. Biden was driving south in the left lane in a 2001 BMW when a tractor-trailer moved into her lane and struck her vehicle. The accident occurred just before 10 a.m. just south of the Route 141 junction with I-95.
The truck driver, Duane Vanderbosh of Perryville, Md., was unhurt. He was cited for careless driving, according to Fox News.Com.
