A federally licensed gun dealer who stopped for dinner on his way home from a gun show had more than $200,000 worth of machine guns, sniper rifles and other weapons stolen from his pickup truck, authorities said.

A federally licensed gun dealer who stopped for dinner on his way home from a gun show had more than $200,000 worth of machine guns, sniper rifles and other weapons stolen from his pickup truck, authorities said.

Yesterday, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.

The dealer had just left a gun show at the Valley Forge Convention Center on Sunday night and had stopped for dinner in King of Prussia on his way home to the Pittsburgh area, according to police.

When he returned to his pickup, parked at Kildare's Irish Pub on Route 202 near King of Prussia Mall, he found that someone had broken into the truck and that the guns had been stolen, police said.

He reported the guns missing around 8:30 p.m.

The two dozen firearms included machine guns and sniper rifles.

Anyone with information about the theft should contact ATF at 800-283-4867 or the Upper Merion Police Department at 610-265-3232. *
