Bucks trash collector killed by truck

A trash collector is dead after a garbage truck accidentally backed over him in Bucks County.

Pennsylvania State Police said Charles Frank Kosiorek, 45, was preparing to pick up trash at a home in Milford Township when he crossed behind the truck, and the driver apparently did not see him.

Authorities say Kosiorek, of Richland Township, was hit by the bumper and fell beneath the moving tires around 9 a.m. Thursday.

He was rushed to the hospital and later pronounced dead.
