The Quakers used a 17-4 running spanning 4 minutes to both halves to take the lead for good in the city series game at the Palestra.

Sydney Stipanovich had 13 points and 11 rebounds to lead Penn (4-3, 2-0). Renee Busch added 11 points.

Ashley Robinson and Kathleen Fitzpatrick each scored 12 points and Ciara Andrews added 10 for the Hawks (3-6, 2-1). Natasha Cloud had seven points, seven rebounds, eight assists and three steals.
