Villanova routs Butler

Katherine Coyer shot 7-for-10 from the field en route to 16 points as the Wildcats rolled in the Big East Tournament quarterfinal at Rosemont, Ill.

Alex Louin (5-for-8 from the floor, all three-pointers) scored 15 points and Kayunaa Edwards added nine points and seven rebounds for third-seeded Villanova (19-12), which will face second-seeded DePaul (24-7) in Monday's semifinal (9 p.m.). Caroline Coyer (0-4) failed to score, but had seven rebounds and seven assists.

Edwards made a three-pointer 27 seconds into the game and the Wildcats were never headed.

Blaire Langlois had 24 points and 13 rebounds for the Bulldogs (14-16). Lexus Murry added 12 points.
