Hawks rally to top the Quakers

Sarah Fairbanks totaled 11 points, nine rebounds and six assists as the Hawks overcame an early 10-1 deficit to defeat the visiting Quakers in a city series game.

Lauren Whitlach had 12 points for Penn (5-2, 0-1). Michelle Nwokedi (11 rebounds, seven blocked shots) and Anna Ross each scored nine.

Alyssa Monaghan and Jordan Strode each tallied nine for SJU (3-4, 2-1). Amanda Fiorvanti snagged 11 boards.
