Alliya Butts shot 6-for-9 from the arc and totaled 24 points and the Owls used a 9-0 run midway through the first quarter and never looked back.

Tanaya Atkinson had 18 points and 11 rebounds and Erica Covile scored 16 for Temple (4-4). Donnaizha Fountain chipped in with 13 points.

Butts added six assists and six steals.

Hannah Kimmel scored 17 points and Kelcey Castro added 12 for the Pioneers (1-7).
