Soul's win streak snapped

Weekend loss to Pittsburgh

THE SOUL'S three-game winning streak was snapped with a loss to Pittsburgh that could come back to bite them in the guitar.

Pittsburgh QB Tommy Grady threw for eight touchdown passes as the Power held on to beat Philadelphia, 65-57, on Saturday.

Derrick Ross scored three touchdowns, two on the ground, for the Soul.

The loss dropped the Soul to 3-4 and gave Pittsburgh (4-3) a tiebreaker edge for what is going to be a tight race for a wild-card playoff berth. Cleveland (6-0) is in control of the East Division.

The Soul's next game is Saturday at 6 p.m. when New Orleans visits the Wells Fargo Center.
