* What time is it? It's Latkepalooza time! The traditional Hanukkah potato pancakes are the centerpiece for this sixth annual event as chefs from Center City restaurants and markets prepare their own versions at the Gershman Y (401 S. Broad St., 215-446-3012). At Latkepaloozas past, more than 3,000 latkes were served to more than 500 adults and kids.

Confirmed participants include Zahav, Bar Ferdinand, Rae, Estia, Jones, Singapore Chinese Vegetarian, Sabrina's, Las Bugambilias, Max & David's, Whole Foods Market and Cabot Cheese. There will be Hanukkah arts and crafts for kids, face painting, a clown, a magician and Nashirah, the Jewish Chorale of Greater Philadelphia. 2-4 p.m. Sunday, $15, $10 ages 6-12, under 6 free.

* Treat yourself and save money for holiday shopping as Positano Coast (212 Walnut St., second floor, 215-238-0499) offers a three-course dinner menu for just $33 Sunday through Thursday in December (excluding New Year's Eve).
