Eagles sign LB Hayes Pullard, waive Asantay Brown
Pullard, 27, played for the Los Angeles Chargers last season, and was in training camp with the Arizona Cardinals until Sunday.

The Eagles have signed free-agent linebacker Hayes Pullard and waived Asantay Brown, the team announced Tuesday morning.
Pullard, 27, played for the Los Angeles Chargers last season, and was in training camp with the Arizona Cardinals but was waived Sunday.
The 6-foot, 235-pound linebacker out of USC is the second Cardinals castoff to join the Eagles during camp. The Eagles traded defensive tackle Bruce Hector for safety Rudy Ford on Aug. 22.
“I haven’t watched a ton of tape on him, but I know this just talking even to some of our players — I know he played with [Eagles wide receiver Nelson Agholor] — this guy is a thumper. He’s a good player. He’s athletic,” Eagles coach Doug Pederson said before Tuesday’s practice. “It’s hard, obviously, trying to learn a defense in 24-48 hours, but he’ll do the best he can to come in and learn and be in a position to help us Thursday” in the preseason finale against the Jets.
Pullard totaled 18 total tackles last season, including one tackle for loss, with the Chargers.
Brown, a 24-year-old linebacker out of Western Michigan, had only one tackle in the preseason.
