Eagles schedule release: Your guide to all of the Birds’ 2026 opponents
A breakdown of all 14 teams the Eagles will play in their 17-game regular season 2026 schedule.

The 14 opponents for the 2026 Eagles season were already known, but NFL schedule release day means we finally have them in order.
The Eagles open Nick Sirianni’s sixth season as head coach with a home game against the Washington Commanders on Sunday, Sept. 13, and the 17-game regular season ends with a road game up the New Jersey Turnpike vs. the Giants.
Here’s a look at each opponent, the Eagles’ recent history against them, and what to know about their offseasons:
Washington Commanders (5-12): Weeks 1 and 8
Last meeting(s) with Eagles: 2025: 29-18 Eagles win; 24-17 Commanders win
Nick Sirianni record against (including playoffs): 8-3
Connections: Former Eagles offensive coordinator Brian Johnson is no longer with the team after spending the last two seasons working with Jayden Daniels as the pass game coordinator. But former Eagles backup quarterback Marcus Mariota is still around. The Eagles drew Mariota and then-39-year-old Josh Johnson with Daniels injured for both matchups last season.
What’s new: The offense will largely look the same, though it will have a new voice in charge in coordinator David Blough. But Washington got a lot better on defense, especially up front. The Commanders had the worst defense in the NFL by yards allowed and ranked 24th in pressure rate. They added defensive tackle Tim Settle Jr. and pass rusher Odafe Oweh in free agency and then selected Sonny Styles seventh overall in the draft. Styles projects as a versatile chess piece for new defensive coordinator Daronte Jones to deploy.
Opening up: The Eagles are 3-2 in home openers under Sirianni.
Tennessee Titans (3-14): Week 2
Last meeting(s) with Eagles: 2022: 35-10 Eagles win
Sirianni record against: 1-0
Connections: Former Eagles receiver and receivers coach Greg Lewis is entering his first season as receivers coach after spending the last three seasons in Baltimore.
What’s new: New coach Robert Saleh inherited a young quarterback in Cam Ward. The Titans got him a few new pass catchers in first-round pick Carnell Tate (4th overall) and former Giants receiver Wan’Dale Robinson. Tennessee also has two new edge rushers in John Franklin-Myers and Jermaine Johnson II and two new corners in Alontae Taylor and Cor’Dale Flott.
Broad Street to Broadway: Besides maybe London, is there a more anticipated Eagles trip than this one? Get ready for a lot of Eagles chants on Nashville’s famed Broadway strip.
Chicago Bears (11-6): Week 3
Last meeting(s) with Eagles: 2025: 24-15 Bears win
Sirianni record against: 1-1
Connections: Former Eagles offensive assistant Press Taylor is entering his second season as the offensive coordinator. The Bears have a few former Eagles, too, in D’Andre Swift and T.J. Edwards.
What’s new: The Bears lost three safeties to free agency and replaced them by signing Coby Bryant and drafting Dillon Thieneman. They also traded receiver D.J. Moore and will be relying on young receivers Rome Odunze and Luther Burden III.
Fall feeling: It was bitter cold in December of 2022 when the Eagles last played in Chicago. They may have lucked out with a late-fall trip.
Los Angeles Rams (12-5): Week 4
Last meeting(s) with Eagles: 2025: 33-26 Eagles win
Sirianni record against (including playoffs): 4-0
Connections: Former Eagles offensive coordinator Brian Johnson is now a senior offensive assistant.
What’s new: There’s some heavy hitters running this high-powered offense under Sean McVay after losing coordinator Mike LaFleur, who became the new head coach in Arizona. Nate Scheelhaase is the coordinator, and Kliff Kingsbury is now on staff. The Rams drafted for the future with quarterback Ty Simpson. Their corner spots look different after trading for Trent McDuffie and signing Jaylen Watson. Otherwise, there are a lot of familiar names for what has become a familiar Eagles opponent.
Stafford’s last stand? How long will the Rams want Simpson waiting behind Matthew Stafford? At least one season, of course. The reigning MVP will be motivated to show he’s not near done yet in 2026.
Jacksonville Jaguars (13-4): Week 5 (in London)
Last meeting(s) with Eagles: 2024: 28-23 Eagles win
Sirianni record against: 2-0
Connections: There are some loose ties here. New Eagles offensive coordinator Sean Mannion played with backup Jaguars quarterback Nick Mullens. Jaguars offensive coordinator Grant Udinski is a Doylestown native who coached Mannion with the Vikings in 2023. New Eagles blocking tight end Johnny Mundt played in Jacksonville last season.
What’s new: Same head coach, same coordinators for a team that really came on last season. Jacksonville lost a few players in free agency: running back Travis Etienne, linebacker Devin Lloyd, and safety Andrew Wingard. Their key free agency moves were adding running back Chris Rodriguez and re-signing cornerback Montaric Brown.
Another Jaguars game in London: Eagles fans in northern Florida haven’t seen their favorite team play in Jacksonville since 2010. The last scheduled Eagles road game in Jacksonville also was moved to London, a 24-18 Eagles win in 2018.
Carolina Panthers (8-9): Week 6
Last meeting(s) with Eagles: 2024: 22-16 Eagles win
Sirianni record against: 2-0
Connections: The Panthers paid Jaelan Phillips a premium price that the Eagles didn’t match. The two teams also made a deal in the offseason that sent Andy Dalton to the Eagles. Bryce Young is backed up by two former Eagles: Kenny Pickett and Will Grier.
What’s new: Phillips and linebacker Devin Lloyd were the big offseason acquisitions for Carolina. They also drafted protection for Young in Georgia tackle Monroe Freeling, who some had as a prospective Eagles pick. Freeling went at No. 19, one pick prior to the Eagles moving up to No. 20 to get Makai Lemon.
Trap this: What’s the over/under on how many times “trap game” is said on WIP this week?
Dallas Cowboys (7-9): Weeks 7 and 12
Last meeting(s) with Eagles: 2025: 24-21 Cowboys win; 24-20 Eagles win
Sirianni record against: 5-5
Connections: The Cowboys plucked defensive backs coach Christian Parker from the Eagles to be their new defensive coordinator. Last year’s third-string Eagles quarterback Sam Howell is slated for the same role in Dallas.
What’s new: Dallas got some help for Parker in his first year taking over the third-worst defense in the NFL by yards allowed. They traded for Packers pass rusher Rashan Gary and 49ers linebacker Dee Winters. Then they revamped their secondary by signing safety Jalen Thompson and drafting Ohio State’s Caleb Downs 11th overall. Downs is expected to start at nickel. The offense will look pretty similar, but George Pickens’ contract situation is something to watch.
Turkey Day: The Eagles are 6-1 all-time on Thanksgiving, but they haven’t played on the holiday since 2015. They last played at Dallas on Thanksgiving in 2014, a 33-10 win.
New York Giants (4-13): Weeks 9 and 18
Last meeting(s) with Eagles: 2025: 38-20 Eagles win; 34-17 Giants win
Sirianni record against (including playoffs): 8-3
Connections: New coach John Harbaugh, a former Eagles assistant, hired Dennard Wilson, Nick Sirianni’s first defensive backs coach, to be the Giants’ new defensive coordinator.
What’s new: The Giants had a pretty solid offseason. They got second-year quarterback Jaxson Dart some new passing weapons in veteran receiver Darnell Mooney and tight end Isaiah Likely. That should benefit Malik Nabers, too. An already elite pass rush got even better when the Giants selected Arvell Reese with the fifth pick. Then they used the pick they acquired from Cincinnati in the Dexter Lawrence trade to shore up the offensive line with Francis Mauigoa at No. 10.
Closing time: This will mark the fourth time in the last five seasons the Eagles finish their regular season vs. the Giants. The Eagles are 2-1 in the previous three finales.
Pittsburgh Steelers (10-7): Week 11
Last meeting(s) with Eagles: 2024: 27-13 Eagles win
Sirianni record against: 2-0
Connections: Former Steelers receiver Makai Lemon ... OK, that’s a joke. The Eagles, of course, jumped in front of the Steelers to pick Lemon in the first round. There are limited connections, so that famous phone call will suffice.
What’s new: The Steelers have a new coach in Mike McCarthy. Will he have Aaron Rodgers back? That’s the big question hanging over the Steelers right now. Pittsburgh made some offseason additions on offense in acquiring receiver Michael Pittman Jr. from the Colts and signing running back Rico Dowdle.
A long time ago: The Steelers haven’t won in Philadelphia in their last 11 tries. Pittsburgh’s last road win in Philly was in 1965. Lyndon B. Johnson was president and gas was 30 cents.
Arizona Cardinals (3-14): Week 13
Last meeting(s) with Eagles: 2023: 35-31 Cardinals win
Sirianni record against: 1-1
Connections: Former Eagles pass rusher Josh Sweat is entering his second year with the Cardinals. Arizona also signed former Eagles guards Isaac Seumalo, who figures to start, and Matt Pryor, who adds depth.
What’s new: Besides the aforementioned Eagles on the line, the Cardinals, who will play under a first-year head coach in LaFleur, upgraded the offense in the form of third-overall pick Jeremiyah Love. The Notre Dame running back should see the ball often. LaFleur, an offensive whiz, doesn’t seem to have great quarterbacking options. The Cardinals still have a lot of building to do.
Getaway weekend: There are some good fan trips for fans on the calendar this year. London and Nashville seem to be at the top, but a fall weekend in Arizona? Pack the golf clubs ... and the sunscreen.
Indianapolis Colts (8-9): Week 14
Last meeting(s) with Eagles: 2022: 17-16 Eagles win
Sirianni record against: 1-0
Connections: Former Eagles offensive coordinator Shane Steichen enters his fourth season with the Colts.
What’s new: The Colts re-upped with Daniel Jones and speedy receiver Alec Pierce and parted ways with Michael Pittman Jr. They also traded linebacker Zaire Franklin to the Packers for defensive tackle Colby Wooden. The defensive front got reinforcements by way of Arden Key and Michael Clemons.
Staying ahead? The Eagles have won four consecutive games in this series and lead it all-time, 11-10.
Seattle Seahawks (14-3): Week 15
Last meeting(s) with Eagles: 2023: 20-17 Seahawks win
Sirianni record against: 0-1
Connections: Former Eagles corner Josh Jobe has turned into a key player for Seattle and earned himself a $24 million deal. He also made Riq Woolen expendable, and the Eagles pounced on the former Seahawks corner in free agency.
What’s new: Not a ton of turnover for the Super Bowl champs. Their biggest offseason move might have been extending Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Seattle also signed veteran pass rusher Dante Fowler Jr. and selected the other Notre Dame running back, Jadarian Price, with the last pick in the first round. He replaces Kenneth Walker III, who signed with Kansas City.
Horror ‘Hawks: The Eagles have lost eight consecutive games vs. Seattle dating back to 2011.
Houston Texans (12-5): Week 16
Last meeting(s) with Eagles: 2022: 29-17 Eagles win
Sirianni record against: 1-0
Connections: Old friend Reed Blankenship was a key offseason addition for Houston. He’ll begin a three-year deal under former Eagles linebacker DeMeco Ryans, who enters his fourth season coaching the Texans.
What’s new: In addition to Blankenship, the Texans also added running back David Montgomery and offensive linemen Braden Smith and Wyatt Teller in the offseason. Their big move was extending edge rusher Will Anderson Jr. to a massive $150 million deal. Anderson has 30 sacks through his first three NFL seasons.
Uh oh: Christmas mornings around the Delaware Valley will have quite a few sluggish celebrators after this primetime Christmas Eve showdown. Another uh oh: How many boring snowballs-at-Santa references will we get throughout the week?
San Francisco 49ers (12-5): Week 17
Last meeting(s) with Eagles: 2025 playoffs: 23-19 49ers win
Sirianni record against (including playoffs): 1-3
Connections: Longtime Eagles reserve lineman Brett Toth is now with the 49ers. Former Eagles edge rusher Bryce Huff was with San Francisco last season before retiring.
What’s new: Robert Saleh, who coordinated the defense last season, left to become the head coach of the Titans. His replacement is Raheem Morris, and the 49ers also hired Matt Eberflus as an assistant. Dre Greenlaw is back on that defense after a season in Denver. San Francisco also traded for Dallas defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa. Brock Purdy has new targets in Mike Evans and Christian Kirk.
Early playoff game? The NFL is betting that both teams will have plenty to play for in Week 17 when it comes to the standings. The holiday season officially ends with what could be an early playoff-like game.
