Eagles news: Dallas Goedert misses practice, A.J. Brown back; Birds coach to interview with 3 teams; injury report
There's a chance of snow at the Linc during Sunday's playoff matchup between the Eagles and Rams, with kickoff at 3 p.m. on NBC.

The Philadelphia will face the Los Angeles Rams Sunday at the Linc in the divisional round of the playoffs. Kickoff is 3 p.m. on NBC.
The Rams haven't played many cold-weather games, and some snow is possible at the Linc Sunday.
Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore will reportedly interview for the Cowboys' head coaching job.
Jalen Hurts said there's room for improvement in the Eagles' passing game. But that's not his main focus.

The weather forecast could be bad news for Matthew Stafford and the Rams
The Rams will have their hands full dealing with the Eagles’ defense Sunday, but their strongest opposition could come from Mother Nature.
Game time temperatures at the Linc Sunday afternoon are expected to be in the mid-30s, but could dip lower as the sun goes down.
Snow is also possible for Sunday's game. Computer models haven't yet settled, but there's currently about a 50-50 chance of snow, which would also bring the temperature down.
Saquon Barkley wins Bert Bell Award
Saquon Barkley may be in the middle of a postseason run, but his award season is just getting started as the Maxwell Football Club has awarded the 2,000-yard running back with the Bert Bell Award, given to the best professional football player.
Barkley earned the award after he became only the ninth player in NFL history to rush for more than 2,000 yards in a season.
This is not the first time an Eagles player has earned the award named after the founder of the franchise, as eight Eagles have previously won the award, including Barkley's teammate Jalen Hurts.

Cowboys request to interview Kellen Moore, report says
The Dallas Cowboys have formally requested to interview Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, according to a report from ESPN.
Moore, a former quarterback, spent three seasons with the Cowboys as a player from 2015 to 2017 before joining former head coach Jason Garrett's staff as the team's quarterback coach. He later became the offensive coordinator under Garrett and then Mike McCarthy.
The Cowboys and McCarthy parted ways earlier this week after McCarthy led the club for five seasons. Dallas missed the playoffs this season after three consecutive trips to the postseason.
Jason Kelce thinks Eagles' offensive problems go beyond Jalen Hurts
Former Eagles star turned ESPN analyst Jason Kelce thinks the Birds’ problems on offense against the Green Bay Packers went beyond Jalen Hurts.
Speaking on 94.1 WIP Thursday, Kelce said “rust definitely” played a factor in Hurts’ performance after missing two games with a concussion, but it was’t the only issue.
“I don't think we ran block particularly well, either,” Kelce said. “I know the run game was better, but I thought there was more to be had across the board offensively, to be honest with you.”
Jeremiah Trotter Jr. on stepping in for Nakobe Dean: 'I definitely feel like I'm ready'
Jeremiah Trotter Jr.’s first brush with playoff football at the Linc occurred long before Sunday’s wild-card win over the Green Bay Packers.
The 22-year-old inside linebacker frequented the stadium with his father, Jeremiah Trotter Sr., for the Eagles’ playoff runs in the mid-2000s as a child. Roughly a decade later, he became more than just a spectator. He was a key special-teams contributor against the Packers, recovering Oren Burks’ forced fumble on the opening kickoff to help set up the Eagles’ first touchdown.
Sunday’s divisional-round game could provide Trotter with yet another new postseason experience. With Nakobe Dean on injured reserve due to a torn patellar tendon sustained against the Packers, Vic Fangio said Tuesday that Trotter and Burks could split reps alongside Zack Baun against the Los Angeles Rams.
The last time the Eagles hosted the Rams in the playoffs...
Sunday won’t be the first time that the Eagles enter a home playoff game as favorites against the Los Angeles Rams. One year to the day after the almost mystical 1988 “Fog Bowl” loss in Chicago, the Eagles faced the Rams in an NFC wild-card game at Veterans Stadium.
That day — Sunday, Dec. 31, 1989 — did not go so well for the Eagles. The Rams, 2.5-point underdogs, scored two touchdowns in the first eight minutes and rolled to a 21-7 victory that not only eliminated the Eagles, but also served as the beginning of the end of an era.
Their head coach, the brusque yet entertaining Buddy Ryan, badly wanted a playoff victory that would prove that his rambunctious team was really moving forward. Ryan also badly wanted a contract extension from Eagles owner Norman Braman, which never came. Ryan was fired after the 1990 season, which ended with another playoff loss at home, to Washington.
Eagles injury report: A.J. Brown misses practices, but expected to play
The Eagles released their first injury report of the week, and the Birds are relatively healthy heading into their divisional-round matchup with the Los Angeles Rams.
Five players did not participate in practice Wednesday, but all were given "rest" designations: A.J. Brown, Saquon Barkley, Cam Jurgens, Jordan Mailata, and Josh Sweat.
Brown is dealing with a lingering knee injury, but told reporters he plans to practice Thursday and play in Sunday's game.
Five Rams players Eagles fans should know
Matthew Stafford, quarterback
Stafford won the Super Bowl in his first year with the Rams in 2021. The veteran quarterback is still as steady and consistent as ever, passing for 3,762 yards and 20 touchdowns in 2024.
Cooper Kupp, receiver
