Eagles reserve running back Ja’Quinden Jackson immobilized, removed from field by ambulance in preseason game vs. Patriots
The entire Eagles sideline came on the field to support Ja'Quinden Jackson before he was stretchered into the ambulance.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Eagles running back Ja’Quinden Jackson was stretchered into an ambulance on the field after the opening kickoff of Saturday night’s preseason game against the New England Patriots.
Jackson, 24, went down on his back during the play and appeared to go into a fencing position. Medical trainers placed Jackson onto a backboard, and then a stretcher, before he was wheeled into the back of an ambulance that drove onto the field.
Later in the first quarter, the Eagles announced that Jackson has strength and movement in all of his extremities. He was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation.
The Eagles signed Jackson on Aug. 10. The 2025 undrafted free agent out of Arkansas spent his rookie season on the Jacksonville Jaguars’ practice squad.
