Karen E. Quinones Miller set to launch eighth novel

After everything author Karen E. Quinones Miller has been through - the loss of both parents at a too-young age, poverty, watching her brother and sister become victims of the unforgiving Harlem streets, enduring an abusive marriage and raising her daughter as a single parent - the hardest thing she's ever done in her life, she said, was self-publish her first book, Satin Doll.
