Making Time ∞ is coming back to Fort Mifflin in September
Electronic acts Bicep, Theo Parrish, Skee Mask and Smerz will be joined by musicians including Kim Gordon and They Are Gutting A Body Of Water at Dave. P's PLURT fest at Fort Mifflin

The Making Time ∞ festival — pronounced “Making Time Forever” — will return to Fort Mifflin from Sept. 18-20 with a lineup mixing electronic dance music, DJs and live acts.
Headliners for the DIY festival’s sixth year at the Revolutionary War-era fort include Northern Irish DJ duo Bicep, former Sonic Youth singer and bassist Kim Gordon, Detroit house music producer Theo Parrish, Philadelphia shoegaze band They Are Gutting A Body of Water, also known as TAGABOW, and German electronic music producer Skee Mask.
The festival, programmed by Philadelphia DJ and entrepreneur David Pianka — known as Dave P. — is in its sixth year at the historic fort, growing out of the roving Making Time parties Pianka began hosting at Philly music venues in 2000.
The 3,000-capacity three-day festival at the Delaware River site near Philadelphia International Airport will include over 120 acts, including DJs such as Canadian producer Dafni, Spain’s John Talabot, Norwegian electronic duo Smerz, and Philadelphia’s Jewelsea.
Live acts performing at multiple stages around the 42-acre site include harpist Mary Lattimore teaming with guitarist Jeff Parker and Greek Orthodox priest and guitarist Dionysios Tabakis, performing music from his new album, Paradise Metal. Avalon Emerson will perform both a DJ set and with her band, the Charm.
“This yearʼs Making Time ∞ lineup sets its sights on the future whilst also harkening back to the origins of Making Time,” Dave P. said in a statement.
“When I started Making Time in the year 2000, the party was based around booking live performances from bands like The Strokes, Interpol, Bloc Party and LCD Soundsystem alongside DJs. This year Iʼve booked more live performances than ever before.”

The progressive dance music event bills itself as “the most ambitious and transcendental DIY event in America” and embraces the mantra of PLURT: “Peace, Love, Unity, Respect and Transcendence.”
Online music magazine Resident Advisor has called Making Time, which draws both local and international crowds, “hands down, one of America’s best festivals.”
Beyond the music, Making Time is renowned for its luminescent look, courtesy of lighting designer Ricardo Rivera’s Klip Collective.
The food lineup has also become a festival hallmark, with last year’s vendors including Tabachoy, Pizzata Pizzeria, Meetinghouse, and Two Persons Coffee, among others. The 2026 lineup, as well as more music acts, will be released in the coming weeks.
Making Time ∞ will be staged during a particularly busy concert weekend in the Philly region. The XPoNential Music Festival is happening at Wiggins Park Camden, and the final weekend of the summer will also see country star Zach Bryan playing The Woodlands at Dover Motor Speedway in Delaware on Sept. 18 and 19.
Three days passes for Making Time ∞ are on sale for $265, plus fees, at ra.co/events/2395557. Tickets without fees are available at Middle Child in Center City, Middle Child Clubhouse in Fishtown, and The Lot Radio in Brooklyn.
