One man was killed and another wounded in a double shooting Friday night in the city's Overbrook section, police said.

About 8:35 p.m. near Lansdowne Avenue and Allison Street, a 26-year-old man was shot in the head, back, buttocks, twice in the right hand, and four times in the legs, police said. He was pronounced dead at 9:44 p.m. at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

The second victim, a 24-year-old man, was shot in the left leg. He was listed in stable condition. No arrests were reported. - Robert Moran
