Boy, 10, found dead in bathtub

Police are investigating the apparent bathtub drowning of a 10-year-old boy in Mayfair. Around 11:20 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to a home on the 3100 block of Magee Avenue after the child's grandmother discovered him floating face down in the tub, police said.

Police are investigating the apparent bathtub drowning of a 10-year-old boy in Mayfair.

Around 11:20 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to a home on the 3100 block of Magee Avenue after the child's grandmother discovered him floating face down in the tub, police said.

He died shortly after at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, police said.

Police remain on the scene.
