Police probe West Oak Lane shooting

Philadelphia police confirmed they were investigating a shooting Saturday night on North Uber Street in the city's West Oak Lane section.

A police spokesman said no other information was available.

However, according to other media reports, a 55-year-old man was shot in the chest, abdomen and both legs. He was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests had been made.
