Bomb threat over; classes resume at Delco school

Strath Haven High School has resumed its regular school day after an evacuation for a bomb threat. The school in Wallingford, Delaware County, was evacuated Tuesday morning after a student reported a bomb threat to school administrators, the school announced on its website.

Students were moved to the middle school while police searched the high school.

By noon, students were back in class.

Police searched the buidling and "the school has been declared safe," the school announced on its website at 11:50 a.m., two hours after announcing the evacuation.

The school day and after school activities will continue as scheduled.
