Child porn charges against man from Upper Darby

A Upper Darby man was arrested on Wednesday in connection with possession of child pornography, the Delaware County District Attorney's office announced.

John Edward Rybnik, 45, of the 3600 block of State Road in Drexel Hill, has been charged with child pornography dissemination, sexual abuse of children for possession of child pornography and criminal use of a communications facility, according to court documents.

He was sent to the Delaware County Prison in lieu of bail, which was set at $100,000 cash.

According to the district attorney's office, detectives received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children alleging Rybnik uploaded child pornography into a online account.

Rybnik, an accountant, allegedly admitted to possessing a Yahoo Flickr account that he used to upload child pornography, according to the district attorney's office.
