Surgeon uses 3D technology to make model heart for 4-year-old patient
Adaenelie Gonzalez had two open heart surgeries by the time she was 4.
Heart patient Adanelie Gonzalez, 4, on January 14, 2015, in Miami. The Heart Program at Miami Children's Hospital is the first in the region to use 3D printing technology to create a model of a patient's heart to plan the surgery for a child born with a heart anomaly.
