Amelia Sims’ two-run walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth lifted Cherry Hill West over Eastern for a 9-8 softball win on Thursday. Rachel Kubrak picked up her 100th career hit with a home run, while Meghan Davis went deep twice for the Lions. Lily Burke went 3-for-3 with two doubles and notched her first win of the year on the mound.

Alexa McNee and Anna Messina both had three hits and scored three runs in Cherokee’s 10-0 win over Northern Burlington. Jordyn Deveney was 2-for-4 with a double and four RBIs. Karly Messina earned the win on the mound, pitching six scoreless innings with eight strikeouts.

Remy Smith went 4-for-4 with a double and three runs as Hammonton shut down Cumberland, 15-0. The Blue Devils scored 10 runs in the first, as Mikaila Rodriguez had two doubles and two RBIs. Cayla Kalani had a triple and three RBIs for Hammonton.

Bordentown beat Burlington Township, 9-2, behind a complete-game, 12-strikeout performance by Annabella Pisapia. Makenza Goleniecki’s single in the fifth was the 100th of her career, while Annabella Marino went 2-for-4 with a home run and five RBIs for the Scotties. Mackenzie Fitzpatrick’s two solo shots were the lone runs for the Falcons.

New Egypt’s lone run in the sixth inning proved to be the only run in the game, as it beat Westampton Tech, 1-0. Kameko Miraglia had a double for the Warriors, while Nina Foy pitched a complete game and struck out five. Brooke Hampton also pitched a complete game in the loss, allowing just three hits and striking out 11 while going 2-for-3 at the plate.

Ciera Yackel struck out eight in Doane Academy’s 17-0 romp over Pennington in four innings. Yackel also had a grand slam. Madison Rios was 3-for-3 with a double and four RBIs, as teammate Gwen Wells followed with three hits and two runs for the Spartans.

Gabby Barranger had three hits and three runs in Haddonfield’s 10-5 win over West Deptford. The Bulldogs jumped out to a 9-0 lead after three innings. Tabitha Thorpe knocked in three runs and had a double for Haddonfield.

Audubon beat Collingswood, 8-4, behind a nine-strikeout outing by McKenzie Yurcaba. Maeve Lougheed added three hits for the Green Wave.

Rachel White struck out seven through five innings as Woodbury shut out Paulsboro, 10-0. Morgan Tripodi had a triple and scored three runs for the Thundering Herd, while Nora Campo was 2-for-4 with two runs.

Emily Spencer had five RBIs in Seneca’s 10-1 win over Timber Creek.

Buena downed Cedar Creek, 16-4. Bridgette Gilliano was 2-for-3 with 3 runs, and Nat Ampole had a triple.

Rancocas Valley scored four runs in the top of the 10th inning to beat Moorestown, 9-6.

Gloucester shut out Wildwood, 16-0.

Baseball

Pennsauken clinched first place in the Liberty Division with a 5-3 win over Moorestown. Anthony Rullo led the Indians, pitching a complete game and hitting a two-run home run in the first inning. Moorestown’s late-game comeback fell short after scoring two runs in the seventh.

Kyle Kato threw a complete-game shutout and struck out seven as Bordentown beat Delran, 4-0. Chris Wade went 2-for-3 with a double for the Scotties, as Dylan Wood and Luke Maybin each collected two hits. Zach Bohn was 3-for-3 for the Bears.

West Deptford scored five runs in the first two innings on the way to a 7-2 win over Sterling. RJ Mason had three hits and an RBI for the Eagles, while Ian Murphy had a double and drove in three. Jason Schules and Jake Vitale both had doubles for the Silver Knights.

Justin Merryfield’s grand slam was part of a five-run fourth inning for Haddon Township, which came back to beat Camden Catholic, 10-7. The Hawks were behind 6-0 entering the third inning. Brennan Marsh had a solo shot in the fourth, while Aiden D’Cristafaro capped off the comeback with a three-run home run in the fifth inning.

Cameron Caruso was 2-for-2 with a home run and two RBIs to lead Haddonfield over Audubon, 4-2. Chris Brown pitched a complete game for the Bulldogs, striking out seven and giving up two runs on seven hits.

Ryan Hughes had a home run and three RBIs as Kingsway beat Gloucester Tech, 8-7, in walk-off fashion in the seventh. Caleb Ritchie was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI. The win gives the Dragons a share of the Tri-County Royal Division for the first time in 17 years.

Robbie Petracci and Garrett Smith drove in three runs apiece in Egg Harbor Township’s 15-0 rout of Bridgeton. David Appolonia added two hits and two RBIs for the Eagles.

Ray Lewis’ go-ahead RBI double in the fifth was enough to have Absegami edge Holy Spirit, 4-3. Nick Ardente had three hits for the Braves.

Cade Hunter had a home run and a double in Lenape’s 4-2 win over Shawnee. Jason Wasko and Steve Matlack also picked up doubles in the win.

Delsea beat Rancocas Valley, 5-4, despite a three-run seventh inning from the Red Devils.

Jarrod Marshall knocked in two runs as Florence shut out Riverside, 4-0.

Gloucester beat Wildwood, 15-0, in five innings. The Lions scored 12 runs in the fourth inning.

Hammonton downed Cumberland, 9-0. Stephen Restuccio picked up the win for the Blue Devils.

Girls’ Lacrosse

Ruby Anyanwu and Maseray Massaquoi netted four goals apiece, pacing Pennsauken to an 18-7 win over Gateway. Kiara Haywood, Shyann Ma, and Lynn Tran had two goals each.

Saylor Allen tallied a game-high seven goals as Haddon Heights beat Winslow Township, 15-6. The Garnets held the Eagles to just one goal while scoring eight themselves.

Boys’ Lacrosse

Seneca was able to hold off Eastern, 13-11, after giving up seven goals in the fourth quarter. Ben Peters and Drew Gallagher combined for nine Golden Eagles’ goals, while Ethan Shacket had three for the Vikings. Seneca led 8-2 at halftime before being outscored 9-5 in the second half.

Finn Morgan had a hat trick in Haddonfield’s 8-7 overtime win over Cherokee.

Kellen Hurst had a game-high four goals in Gloucester Catholic’s 11-3 win over Woodstown. Sean Beers had a hat trick for the Rams.

Boys’ Tennis

Millville shut out Williamstown, 5-0, in the South Group 4 first round. Kevin Smith beat Eric Lee in straight sets, 6-3, 6-0. Gavin Smith and John Sheppard defeated Tyler Jackstis and Joshua Hoban in doubles.

Tyler Meitzer downed Kevin Abrams in straight sets to lead West Deptford to a South Group 2 first round win over Triton, 4-1. Corey Fischer and Matt Topeka beat Dustin Plyes and Benjamin Weaver, 6-0, 6-1.

In other South Group 2 action, Seneca beat Sterling, 4-1. Landon Wall shut out Anthony Nong, 6-0, 6-0, in the win.

Staying in South Group 2, Deptford beat Oakcrest, 4-1.
