Kelly Grant scored 13 points as the St. Basil basketball team clinched first place in the Catholic Academies with a 51-29 triumph over Merion Mercy on Thursday. The Panthers improve to 19-0 overall and 12-0 in the league play, and have one league game left next Tuesday at Gwynedd-Mercy. Casey Remolde and Sammie White each chipped in eight points for the victors.
