Anastasia Lewis pitched a one-hitter with seven strikeouts as the Penn Charter softball team knocked off Baldwin, 1-0, on Thursday. Abby Quinn hit the decisive home run in the visiting fourth.

Billie Kerwood hit a home run, a double, and drove in five runs to carry Interboro past Chichester, 11-9. Emily Gavin went 3-for-4 with a triple, three runs scored and, and two RBIs.
Baseball
The Central Bucks East baseball team spotted starter Jack Hamilton with a seven-spot in the visiting first on Thursday as the Patriots cruised to an 8-2 victory over previously-unbeaten Neshaminy. Hamilton went the distance allowing an earned run while striking out six. James Pello went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Jack Nugent added a double for the victors.

Tyler Rossini allowed two hits in a complete game and hit the go-ahead home run in Delco Christian’s 1-0 triumph over Faith Christian.

Grant Burgess, Lonnie White, and Ethan Hennessey each had an RBI as Malvern Prep edged West Chester Henderson, 4-3. Josh Paulina earned the win, striking out five in two innings of relief.

Kobi Bui and Mike Frederico scored three goals apiece as Boyertown defeated Methacton in overtime, 11-10. Alex Axman added two goals for the Bears.

Annie and Curran McLaughlin each recorded four goals as Germantown Friends beat Abington Friends, 17-7. Clare Meyer chipped in three goals for the Tigers.
